TASK FORCE 14
The Kentucky Division
of Emergency Management Area 14 WMD/HAZMAT Task Force is comprised
of members from various agencies in Frankfort and Franklin County.
It falls under the supervision of the Frankfort / Franklin County Office
of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
It’s primary mission
is to respond in a coordinated and efficient fashion to protect
public health and safety from the effects of the release or spill of
hazardous materials and terrorism incidents involving biological,
radiological, nuclear, incendiary, chemical, or explosive materials
or other weapons of mass destruction.
